Privacy Policy

Villain Edit (“the app,” “we,” “us”) is a single-player game made by Pressed Media Works. We designed it to need as little of your information as possible. We do not collect personal information, we do not have user accounts, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

What stays on your device

Your game progress (saved seasons, discovered endings, career stats, and your sound, music, haptics, captions and text size settings) is stored only on your device using local storage. It is not transmitted to us or to anyone else, and we cannot see it. Deleting the app removes it. Inside the app, Reset career removes your seasons, endings and stats.

Purchases

Riptide and Sight Unseen are one-time in-app purchases, sold separately or together. Payment is processed entirely by Apple; we never see or receive your name, email, or payment details.

The app talks to Apple’s App Store directly to show prices in your currency, complete a purchase, and restore it. There is no third-party purchase service, and nothing about your purchase is sent to us. See Apple’s privacy policy for how Apple handles that data.

No analytics, no ads, no tracking

The app contains no third-party advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no cross-app or cross-site tracking. It does not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt because it does not track you. We do not sell or share data for marketing.

Sharing

At the end of a season you can share a card with your result. It goes through the iOS share sheet to wherever you choose to send it. Nothing is sent to us. The app does not ask for access to your camera, microphone, photos, contacts or location.

This website

This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the “last updated” date above.
